Data Deletion

How to delete the data Verdict holds

What data exists, and where

  • Account data — your name and email address from Google sign-in, held by our sign-in provider (Clerk).
  • Your scans and photos— reports you save (including downscaled photos) live in your own browser's storage on your device, not on our servers.
  • Mapping examples — if enabled, a photo together with its dot placements may be stored on our side when you confirm a scan, to improve placement accuracy (disclosed in the Privacy Policy).

How to delete it

On your device — instant

Delete individual scans from the Progresspage (the trash icon on any scan, or the × on a person to remove all of their scans). To wipe everything at once, clear this site's data in your browser settings. This removes all locally stored reports and photos immediately.

On our side — email request

To delete your account and any stored mapping examples, send a request to verdictfaceapp@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.
