Verdict is operated by the Verdict team ("we"). Verdict rates your facial structure from two photos you upload. This policy explains exactly what we collect and what happens to it.
Account: your name and email address from Google when you sign in.
Photos: the front and side photos of your face that you upload for a rating. Face photos are biometric information — treat uploading as a deliberate choice.
Landmark data: the positions of the measurement dots the system places on your photos, and where you move them when you correct them, plus the ethnicity option you select (used only to grade against the right population norms).
Two purposes only: (a) computing your rating — your photos are analyzed by automated systems, including an AI model, to place measurement points and grade a small set of visual attributes; and (b) improving placement accuracy — your confirmed dot corrections (together with the photo they belong to) may be stored and used as examples so the system places dots more accurately for everyone. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the processors below.
Sign-in is handled by Clerk. Photo analysis calls Anthropic's Claude API; photos sent for analysis are processed to produce the rating and are not used by Anthropic to train its models. Front-photo landmark detection runs entirely in your browser and those pixels never leave your device except as part of the photos you submit.
Your scans are stored on your own device, in your browser's storage — not on our servers — and stay there until you delete the report or clear the site's data. Nothing is uploaded to our servers except the photos sent for the AI analysis call and, if enabled, the mapping examples described above. Stored mapping examples (photo + dot positions) are kept only for accuracy improvement and are deleted on request. We keep data no longer than needed for these purposes.
You can stop using Verdict at any time. To have your stored photos, mapping data, or account information deleted, see Data Deletion or email verdictfaceapp@gmail.com — we delete within 30 days.
Verdict is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account and upload photos; you confirm this at sign-up.
